BEAR, DELAWARE, RESIDENT FAWAD NISAR TAKES PART IN COCA-COLA CORPORATE INTERN PROGRAM

RIVERDALE, N.Y.  ---  Fawad Nisar, a resident of Bear, Delaware, and a junior in Manhattan College’s department of chemical engineering, was selected to participate in the inaugural class of The College Fund and Coca-Cola Intern Program.

As part of the intern program, Mr. Nisar will participate in a paid summer internship at The Coca-Cola Company and will receive a $10,000 scholarship for his studies this fall.

The College Fund and Coca-Cola Corporate Intern Program has been established to provide students with an opportunity to gain real-life corporate experience with the world’s leading beverage company and provide a number of America’s brightest and most talented young minority men and women access to education. The goal of the two-year program is to position students for a full-time career with The Coca-Cola Company.

Located in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, Manhattan College, founded in 1853, is an independent, Catholic, coeducational college in the Lasallian tradition that offers over 40 major fields of study in the programs of arts, business, education, engineering and science.
