BEAR,
DELAWARE, RESIDENT FAWAD NISAR TAKES PART IN COCA-COLA CORPORATE
INTERN PROGRAM
RIVERDALE,
N.Y. --- Fawad Nisar, a resident of Bear, Delaware,
and a junior in Manhattan College’s department of chemical
engineering, was selected to participate in the inaugural class
of The College Fund and Coca-Cola Intern Program.
As
part of the intern program, Mr. Nisar will participate in a paid
summer internship at The Coca-Cola Company and will receive a $10,000
scholarship for his studies this fall.
The
College Fund and Coca-Cola Corporate Intern Program has been established
to provide students with an opportunity to gain real-life corporate
experience with the world’s leading beverage company and provide
a number of America’s brightest and most talented young minority
men and women access to education. The goal of the two-year program
is to position students for a full-time career with The Coca-Cola
Company.
Located
in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, Manhattan College, founded
in 1853, is an independent, Catholic, coeducational college in the
Lasallian tradition that offers over 40 major fields of study in
the programs of arts, business, education, engineering and science.
